Description

Quatech's 410D Series is designed to provide the best value available in Ethernet serial device servers. This serial device server comes with 2 serial device ports and an extensive feature set that sets it apart from other serial device servers in its respective price range.

The port is switch-selectable for RS-232, 422 and 485, and supports baud rates up to 230K. It ships with direct driver support for Windows 98, Me, NT4, 2000 and XP. The serial ports can also be accessed using standard TCP/IP socket commands, and support Paired Mode (serial tunneling) applications.

Other features include an auto-sensing megabit Base-T Ethernet interface, TCP and UDP Client/Server modes, and a Heartbeat feature to automatically re-establish communications when network connections are lost. This model supports Telnet configuration and, for added security, the ability to reject connections from all but a single, defined IP address.

With all that flexibility built-in, you can confidently deploy it in any number of different serial device-to-network applications.
