  • I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop (Windows XP) and I want to add another video monitor, perhaps two more monitors at a later date. I want to display "different" items on each screen and be able to go from the computer's built-in screen to the added screen with the mouse arrow pointer and be able to click-and-drag items from one screen to the other. Will this splitter do this, if not; what do I need to get?
    • This splitter is a serial splitter and has nothing to do with modern computer monitors. Splitters in general do not allow what you want to do, since splitters by their very nature send the same signal to all locations. You should have at least one VGA connection on the laptop to connect an addition screen. If you need more than that, try our USB external video cards
