I need a cable to connect my lap top to a flat screen TV while I am in bed. What cable do i need?
- The best PC to TV solution depends a lot on what kinds of connections your TV and computer have. If your computer and TV both have VGA ports the best solution is simply a VGA cable. If your computer has DVI or HDMI on it and your TV has HDMI on it you can simply use a cable to go from one to the other. If your computer has VGA and your TV only has composite RCA or S-video you would want to use the PC to TV converter, part SW-4262. Another option would be to go from the VGA port on the computer to the HDMI port on the TV. You could use an analog to digital signal converter like the VGA to HDMI Scaler, part SW-9393. If your computer has VGA and your TV has component (but not HDMI) i would recommend the PC to HDTV converter, part SW-4280. That item will convert the VGA signal to an HD component signal for use on your HDTV.
