Pros: Easy to use No cables to run Works anywhere in the house Plug (pun intended) and play Safer than wireless for "war driving"

Cons: Only 10 Mbps but fast enough for most uses Finicky about plugging into power/surge strips, not recommended but works sometimes Still hooked to a cable Somewhat pricey compared to wireless

Other Comments: I use both this and wireless in the house. One laptop's WLAN messes with the TV's so this is a good solution
