nefrusy - Nice Clean Solution

5 stars

Pros: I really like this as a total solution for a "wireless" wall mount setup. Originally I was looking for a recessed outlet, with surge protection, as well as a wire hole cover... well this basically came with everything I needed, at a reasonable price! Plus, I like that I can use any surge protector I want.

Cons: The included "template" for the drywall holes is really just a flimsy piece of cardboard that is part of the packaging I think. My box had two, but both were torn in one corner so it wasn't very helpful.

Other Comments: Need to buy NM/Romex cabling separately from big box store, I went with 14 gauge... only a couple of bucks.

Marc - A great solution

Pros: Looks great, and is easy to install with the included template.

Cons: I would say that it is over-priced, but there are no decent solutinos available for less.

Other Comments: I will probably buy another one for the next room I put a TV in.

Anonymous - Great Clean Installation

Pros: The product is extremely simple to install and the finish result looks GREAT! I have had an actual box wired by an electrician on my main Plasma, but for our bedroom I wanted to tackle this project myself. The company has some great install videos on Youtube and their actual website. I had never used a keyhole saw into drywall before, but it was very simple and I rate this product very highly.

Cons: My only complaint was the bad template for making the cuts into the wall. I just took a piece of cardboard and created my own sturdy version with a Xacto knife based on the already torn template that came with the product. Just a minor hiccup for a great product.

Other Comments: Don't forget to purchase some Romex wiring (I used 14 gauge) from my local Home Depot. It is very inexpensive, and get a little extra to make moving the wire through the wall easier. One last thing with the A/V plate that comes with it, you will probably be limited to a HDMI cable, 1 set of component cables, and 1 audio set of cables to fit through the housing.

Joan - Great Solution!

Pros: Very well made solid product. the slim design fit perfect behind my 42" TV. I also like that I can have my Tv plugged into my surge protector with this. Allot cheaper than hiring an electrician who wanted $200 just to put in a regular outlet. This was very easy to install, I helped my husband install it last weekend, and I have no cords hanging down the outside of the wall. Yeah!

Cons: None. I recommend this Powerbridge to anyone who doesn't want the cords hanging down the wall

Other Comments: My neighbor is ordering one today because her husband ran the TV cord inside the wall and I told her that was not legal, happy I found this product. By the way, ythese are not sold at the hardware stores, I looked.

BK - Great Product!

Pros: Easy to Install, just make sure you have a good tool for cutting drywall and not a utility knife like I had. As advertised, easy way to float my TV.

Cons: Hardest part of the install is running the wires through the holes. Make sure you do this before attaching the plates to the holes. so you can use the bigger hole in the wall.
