  • I have to add (2) ports to a new computer(with no PP) used to control a cnc machine. Would two separate cards(SW-1473) give me a faster through put than this(SW-4301-2) two port card?
    • Parallel is so much slower than PCI that one controller should be able to handle two ports with no problem.

  • Parallel PCI Controller Card, 2-Port. I see this card is priced out at $19.95 when buying 1 card. It has a pin out for the second port but does it ship with the cable so you can make use of the second port? Do you have a Y-Cable adapter also that has a Male plug in to the back of the card and two cables you can plug into?
    • While it is not pictured, this does include the ribon cable for the second Parallel port. It will use another PCI bracket on your comptuer tower (but not another PCI slot)
