• I have 2 computers and we just purchased a 4 in 1 printer (HP Laserjet M1522nf). Does this auto switch automatically allow us to print or do we need to switch the device with the toolbar icon? I just purchased a "sharing auto switch" from another company and it misled me into thinking it was automatic when actually I need to click on the toolbar icon to switch the printer.
  • Unfortuntately, this will not work to auto-share a 4 in 1 printer. A single function printer can be automatically shared (software is required, but does not require user input to switch) however with multi-function printers you typically can not have it shared automatically.
