PC to TV Converter Reviews - GEZ-1000

Pros: Very easy to use; does a good job; inexpensive

Other Comments: I bought this to convert the flv,avi, and mpg files on my computer to a VHS cassette. This may be an unusual practice, but it saves me from having to do a lot of tricks with the computer. I can then use my DVD recorder to create DVD discs from the VHS tapes. A round-about process, but I like it. You can also use the EZ Converter to copy difficult sites live from the Internet. I have used the VGA/USB connection on both an XP and a Vista computer. For the XP I boot the computer first then attach the cables. For the Vista I attach the cables first. This is a very nice product.

Pros: Must have for anyone who enjoys watching movies on their computer, or making presentations for work, school or family. Easy to connect, and small for great storage. Comes with everything you need to get started.

Cons: Although the video is great, there are small bars running through it, so it's not a perfect picture. Also the text is unreadable for medium to small text. For instance this review would be but a blur on your tv.

Other Comments: This product was a great buy for what i wanted out of it. Most similar products are usually about 70 to 80 dollars more for something that doesn't work as well. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wishes to view movies from their computer on their tv.

Pros: This converter works very well for my needs. Now I'm able to use my computer and my Xbox 360 on the same t.v. just by changing the channel. Considering radio shack tried to charge me $101.99 for the same component, i'm very glad i found it here. I use my computer to play movies and the picture is fantastic.

Cons: As other people have already said, small text is rather hard to read. Thats my only complaint and it isn't a big one.

Pros: Setup: So easy a caveman can do it! Seriously, I had this thing up and running in under 5 minutes without reading the user guide. Connected to a Dell 1501 laptop VGA output configured as a second monitor, then to a 32" CRT television via s-video. I have excellent resolution when viewing video from a DVD or an AVI file. Text is blurry, but I knew it would be, and I wasn't planning on using the device as a driver for a 2nd monitor anyway. All I wanted was to watch movies from my laptop on my TV, and it works perfectly for that purpose. I love that it uses USB for power as I don't have to worry about finding an extra outlet anywhere. A very efficient and cost effective way to view video on a television.

Cons: None really. The "Fine Tune" button on the device doesn't seem to do anything to the quality of the picture when pushed, and the user guide is extremely vague about its intended operation.

Other Comments: The $45.00 price tag seems a bit steep for such a simple device, but it's better than paying at least twice that for any other alternative out there. Sewell Direct is an excellent company to deal with and I will do business with them again! Definitely recommended!

Pros: Performed as expected from other reviews on the website. Picture is clearer with the newer movies. Device does a good job and we enjoy it!

Cons: It is hard to read smaller print, but that's not why we purchased it.
