This raid controller card from Norco features four serial ATA ports, will support port multiplier switching, RAID 0, 1, 0+1, JBOD, and RAID5 on Windows only, but supports MAC OS X, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Server 2003, Linux, and Mac Pro.

By maximizing the performance of all four external Serial ATA (eSATA) ports, you can reach a throughput performance level over 800 MB/s if it used with the Norco DS-500 or DS-1220 eSATA storage subsystems that have build-in port multipliers.

The controller unit has a SiI3124 SATA II chip and as mentioned supports port multiplier switching.
