  • I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse model 1027 and need a KVM switch to work with it. I will upgrade to a newer wireless set if needed.
    • This KVM will work with many wireless mouse and keyboard combos, however we unfortunately are unable to test all of the possible configurations. You can get an idea of how your mouse and keyboard will work with the KVM by fist trying to switch your reciever between computers by hand. (sometimes you have to re-sync the mouse/keyboard each time, which makes the KVM solution much more complicated)

  • What is the means of switching does this device utilize--on the device or keyboard? I currently use a PS2 KVM which switches via keyboard (scroll lock key twice in succession).
    • This switch can be switched with the physical buttons on the switch or through a keyboard shortcut. The shortcut keys can be customized through the included switching software.

  • I want to share a monitor and a usb keyboard and usb kensington trackball between a PC running XP Pro and a Mac running OSX 10.4. Will this device work for me? I do not care to control and switch functions by keystroke. Manual switching betwen the MAC and PC is fine.
    • As long as both of your computers use VGA outputs for the video connection and have USB ports available for the input of the keyboard and mouse, this KVM switch will work for you. The switch is compatible with both windows and mac systems.
