Make your network POE ready with this Level One POE kit. The injector puts power into ethernet and the splitter allows power and data to run on separate channels for POE devices requiring a Cat power input.
PoE Injector:
The injector takes a data stream and injects power into the same cable. This is nessesary for devices that glean power off of the same cable as the data stream and especially convinient for devices in remote locations where power outlets are scarce.
PoE Splitter:
This is not a hub or a switch, but separates power and data from a single Cat5 or Cat6 source. Putting the data and power on separate channels allows dumb POE devices to be powered while maintaing a separate data channel for devices that require separate power inputs.
