Scaling
The KD-VPHD2 (formerly the iSync HD) allows you to connect all your devices up at the same time. It provides 3 Component, 3 Composite, 2 S-Video, and 2 HDMI/DVI/HDCP ports for complete access and control over all your video sources. Each of these inputs also has an applicable audio input.
Installation and Use
This distribution center is designed to not only look great, but be functional and easy to set up. Each color-coded input and output is clearly marked and easy to read. Simply connect as many devices as you need to the available ports. The switch automatically identifies the source and then outputs the video and audio accordingly. The included remote control gives you the ability to switch between each source in the comfort of your chair.
HDCP Protection
HDCP (high bandwidth digital content protection) is a standard that is integrated into video signals to prevent piracy. If a switching device is not HDCP compliant, the resolution is reduced to 480p. This switch is HDCP compliant so all Blu-ray and HD-DVD devices are supported.
High Definition Output
No matter what the input, the KD-VPHD2 displays video in a full 1080p resolution. This means that even if you have an older VCR, camcorder, camera, or other analog device, it will be scaled to comply and look great with your TV or projector.
