  • Can I play games using this device. I play games like shooter where framerate and responsiveness is very important. A lags of 100 ms would be a problem. Is this the device I need. Otherwize, are there other products that would fit my need.
    • The additional processing will introduce some lag, and it would increase with the longer CAT5 cabling, however it is typically negligable. This product however was not designed for gaming, and we unfortunately don't have any specific benchmarks or measurements of the lag time.

  • I'm looking for a way to transmit my PC video signal to my LCD-TV (it has VGA-in-connection), and also for a way to control my PC from a distance. My computer resides in the attick, and my TV in the living room downstairs. I want this setup to view movies, played on my PC upstairs, on my TV downstairs. Can I do this using this device?
    • This item would allow yout to have a keyboard and mouse near your TV that will control your computer, while still allowing you to have your computer's keyboard and mouse attached to control the computer when you are sitting at it.
