  • Does this converter transmit the audio stream to TV also? I read a review on another website and the customer complained that they could cannot setup audio.

  • I'm setting up a wireless system in my living room {because I have a 3 yr old who likes wires}, from my computer room I want to have the ability to view everything that displays on my computer and have it display on my flat screen in my living room. Example-listen to music, watch streaming video and surf the internet from my living room with a wireless keyboard and mouse set-up. That way, all thats in my living room is a t.v. and my sat system; everything else is ran entirely out of my computer to my T.V. Is this possible with this product? Also, I have a HD T.V. but I'm not running HD currently. Do I need to be "fully" HD before I use this product or does just my T.V. need to be HD compatible? I'm very interested in this product and need to know this info before I can justify this purchase.
    • This would work for you. Full HD is not related to HD compatible. Full HD refers to 1080P resolution, versus the older HD at 720P/1080i resolution. HD compatible usually just means there is no HD Tuner present in your display (but the display is still capable of displaying HD), but since this goes through component that won't be an issue. Note that this in no way solves your wireless keyboard/mouse issue.

  • I want to connect to internet TV thru my computer and I have a TV in adifferent room, maybe a 100ft away will this product work for me and is it correct to say I won't need to run a seperate line for audio. I would also like to know how I can control my TV if the computer is in another room. Will I have to go to my computer to change the channel? Also what would I need if I wanted to connect more than one TV?
    • The distance this will work will depend on the strength of your wireless network. Being in another room is not a problem unless your wireless is not powerful enough. The computer will not control channels(or be able to see channels), it will only be acting as one of the video inputs on your tv. For more than one tv you would need to buy additional units, or split out the video signal from the reciever.

  • I have a dell 9300 laptop. Does it have to have a dual core processor. What are the pc specifications?
    • The minimum system requirements are: Pentium 4 or M > 1.8GHz with 512 MB RAM (Intel Core Duo with 1GB RAM recommended) 802.11b/g or RJ45 Ethernet interface

  • I have a laptop (HP Pavilian dv2715nr) that I would like to play music and movies from an external hard drive to an Onkyo TX-SR606 reciever that will then go to a Samsung LN-T5265F via an HDMI cable. Will this work? Also I would like to add an additional tv and reciever of the same make and model in a different room, do you offer an option to add a recevier to this model?
    • This will let you wirelessly view videos from your laptop on your TV. It uses component video instead of HDMI. You can only control one receiver at any time from the computer. You could use 2 receivers, but only one would function at a time.
