This high-end HD-SDI/SDI (BNC) to
HDMI and VGA converter is your best bet when converting a high definition SDI signal into an HDMI or
VGA format with virtually zero video quality loss.
Supported Resolutions
Many HD-SDI to HDMI converters on the market only output a 1080i signal, but our converter can output full 1080p. Here is a list of supported resolutions along with the frequencies those resolutions can be output at:
720p (at 24, 25, 30, 50, or 60 Hz)
1080i (at 50, or 60 Hz)
1080p (at 24, 25, or 30 Hz)
Embedded Audio Support
This converter supports up to 2-channel embedded audio, so if your HD-SDI has 2-channel stereo audio embedded, it will output HDMI with embedded 2-channel stereo audio.
Supported Cable Lengths
On the HDMI side, the supported length of cable you can run from the converter to your HDMI display device is about the same as any standard HDMI run, about 15-20 feet of reliable 1080p HDMI video at least (without a repeater). On the HD-SDI side however, you can go a lot longer.
The incoming HD-SDI cable can vary in maximum length depending on the resolution you want to run:
1080p : 140 meters of RG6 cable, 100M of RG59 cable
720p/1080i : 200 meters of RG6, 140 meters of RG59 cable
In addition, this converter features VGA output and also HD-SDI/SDI loopthrough via BNC.
