Cleanly switch in the vertical interval any of eight different HD or SDI inputs to any of four outputs. Complies with all SMPTE standards.

Dual Outputs. Save the cost of adding external distribution amplifiers of the outputs.

Automatic Input Cable Equalization and Automatic Output Re-clocking. Each of the four inputs includes an automatic adaptive cable compensation circuit that allows up to 1,000 feet of cable on each input for SDI data rates and up to 300 feet for HD data rates.

Each output includes an automatic rate detector and jitter reducing re-clocking circuit. The circuit automatically switches between a number of different standard SMPTE digital video data rates. Non-standard rates are automatically bypassed. Lock detect and data rate for each output are reported via the RS232 interface.

Flexible Control System. The MSC-HD84’s internal micro-controller provides simultaneous RS232 and Ethernet control. The built in web page provides a GUI interface that works with any standard browser on any computer platform.

The MSC-HD84 does not include a local control panel. The MSC-HD84L includes a built in local control panel. The MSC-CP8x4E TCP/IP Ethernet based panel can be used to remote control either the MSC-HD84 or MSC-HD84L
