This cable does not convert an RGB signal (which is virtually all VGA signals) to a YPbPr signal (required for all component TVs). Almost all VGA to component applications requires an active conversion like with our PC to HDTV converter (SW-4280).

Note: Unless clearly specified on your Television/Computer/TV that it supports a direct conversion from VGA to Component, in most cases it will not. In order to do this kind of conversion you will need an active converter like the SW-4280.
