This simple KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch is a very simple way to manually switch between two computers while only using one set of DVI monitor,
USB keyboard and mouse.
Setting this switch up is super simple. Merely connect the DVI cable coming from your two computers to the DVI in ports and connect the monitor you're using to the DVI out port. This switch supports single link DVI, allowing for 1080p (1920 x 1200).
Connect a single USB cable from each of your computers and connect it to both USB in ports. The switch provides two USB ports for your keyboard and mouse. These ports support USB 2.0. The switch will also route each computer's audio to your speakers.
The switch is controlled either with IR remote, or with a physical button located on the switch itself. Or if you wish you can use the (##SW-5395##Gefen Remote Control Unit##> that uses 3.5 mm stereo cable to connect with the switch. This remote allows you to switch from afar without the use of direct view IR technology.
