Manufacturer Part #: CAB-ADB-12MF
The Apple Desktop Bus, also known as ADB was once the main standard for mouse and keyboard cable connections on Apple computers. Making its place in Apple history in the 1980's, this connection type was used on the Macintosh line of comptuters all the way through 1999. It wasn't dropped because of Y2K fears back in '99, but merely because USB had become more universal and easier to manufacture.
This ADB cable from Gefen is 12 feet long and has male to female connection ends. This allows you to plug your keyboard or mouse with the permanently attached male ADB end cable into the female end of this extension cable.
This is the Apple Desktop Bus (ADB) logo that Apple used on their computer hardware and accessories.
