  • What is a SIM card? I thought the Samba 75, if plugged into a laptop, would then connect one with the internet.
    • No, you still need a SIM card from a mobile carrier in order to use the internet. This is a lot like a cell phone (and many cell phones still use SIM cards) - the Samba is like the phone and the SIM card is the chip that actually let's you communicate with the satellite.

    • You will want to check with your local cell phone providers to see which of them support GSM, GPRS or EDGE and provide SIM cards.
