CP - Works Perfect

5 stars

Pros: Easy to use. Easy to install. Works as is suppose to. Works perfect with Dell XPS M1210. Works excellent with WIFI cards.

Cons: It is too big and bulky. I guess you are to expect that.

dsh Solutions - A Godsend

Pros: This as a godsend. Verizon wanted to change my unlimited broadband plan to a limited plan in order to upgrade from a pcmcia card to a usb or express card modem. I was able to get the express card adapter (to save my limited usb ports) and can use it on all my laptops (5).

Cons: none so far

Other Comments: I had problems installing (mostly a brain drain on my end) and I had to call support twice. They were extremely helpful and polite and pointed me immediately to the fixes I couldn't seem to find at the time. Their patience and humor was very refreshing and they answered almost immediately. Good work guys!

Willie - Allen Bradley Cards

Pros: works great on a Dell Inspiron 1525. Used with Allen Bradley PCMK card and went only with no trouble. First set up drivers for the adapter then put in the PCMK card and for XP add the drivers that are for Win2K and works great. Might have to reboot afterwards.

Cons: Haven't get the PCC card to work yet. PCMK used one word of memory and PCC uses two so you have to make provision manually and I haven't have the time to mess with yet. Otherwise the adapter works great.

Other Comments: Beats paying Rockwell $2k plus USB adapter(outrageous price)

Pros: Card arrived on time and in good condition.

Cons: I have still to get it working, I am getting the device recognized, however, my PCMCIA card does not show up. I am using VISTA as my operating system. I have not contacted technical support as yet, hopefully later today and I am hoping they will be able to get me up and running.

Other Comments: Would like to review after I get the device to work for me.

Pros: The adapter does work with the GC89. I am using the Dell Inspiron E1505 and running vista and works fine. Had to call Tmobile to have them help configure the card but it works fine
