Cons: base is very wide immediately after the screw connector, so there are many lamps and fixtures it wouldn't fit in for me. The fan is NOT silent. It's quiet, but I can quite clearly hear it buzzing up there... Not dimmable.

Other Comments: This is among my favorite LED lamps that I've purchased, hope for the future and not having to buy any more CFL lamps.

Pros: This bulb does worth it's price for being a VERY healthy alternative to ALL other known bulbs on the market. Saves you money, energy and last for a very long time. I had these new energy savers all throughout my house till one exploded. Talking about health hazard that's what I was facing. Got rid of them all them at once. Highly recommend this product and I did purchased several units to prove it. I will rate it 4.5 starts

Pros: Its bright for only 13 watts. Color similar to CFL.

Cons: It is a bright point, not diffuse like a CFL. Also more focused than a CFL. Would be better for a spot light than a general lamp. $$$
