requirements as detailed in annex 40B

of the 1000BaseT standard, the clamp

is used in the common mode noise

rejection test of section 40.6.1.3.3.

Specifications:

Input 50 ohm female BNC

Return Loss Guaranteed to exceed 30 dB

Output 50 ohm female NC (requires 1% 50 ohm load)

Cable aperture ¼” copper tube

Assembly 6 Allen head screws

Use Release screws, remove top, insert wire per IEEE 802.3

1000BaseT document, replace top, and reapply screws.

Note It is important to properly tighten screws to assure

continuous contact between the two halves of the copper

tubing.
