• I am looking at buying a Dell Vostro 1700 laptop. The specs indicate it has a 15 pin VGA video connector. Will this type of connector work with the Matrox dualHead2go?
  • Yes, the DualHead2Go uses a standard VGA cable, but we suggest you check Matrox's compatibility list and run the compatibility tool available on the product page in order to be sure that your computer will be compatible.

• do you carry any product that works the same BUT allows for the monitors to placed up and down?
  • Instead of using the Matrox DualHead2Go you could use our USB to DVI external video card. This will install as a seperate video port and you can place it in any orientation you'd like.

• If I run Dual2Go from a dual head DVI video card can I use the 2nd head with a DVI to HDMI cable to feed and LCD HD TV?
  • Yes, but you will need to DualHead2Go digital edition in order for it to work properly.
