Pros: Length, heavy duty cable, ferrite cores.

Cons: Too long for DVI-D? I bought this to run a 35' length between my PC and a second monitor in my theater. I have an adjacent kitchenette where I am placing all my AV equipment. I also have a 25' that runs to the projector. Unfortunately, the 35' cable was discontinued, so I bought I had to get the 50'. After installing the cable, DVI-A works great, with only very, very minor wobble in the image (I have to look long and hard to see it). However, DVI-D signals introduce green static in black areas of the image. Connecting my second monitor to the 25' run, the image is perfectly clear.

Other Comments: If the cable is too long for DVI-D signals, Sewell should discontinue this cable (and sell a DVI-A only at 50' length), and bring back the 35' DVI-I instead. Sewell Note: We are sorry that you are having trouble with the digital signal on the cable. It sounds like you are picking up some interference to which the digital signal is more suceptable. (Appliances can often give of a lot of electrical interfernce to adjacent cabling) You can get an inline booster that should be able to clean up the signal.

Pros: Works fine, no picture problems, used to remote DVI-D to ceiling mounted projector in my church

Cons: None that I can see, but I am in a digital friendly environment.

Other Comments: I needed a 50-footer to get where I was going, two 35-footers with a DVI-D booster would have been impractical for my application. I can report that this cable fit the bill!
