In case you were wondering, purple light is actually what most people call "black light", making just about anything white glow. These purple cold cathode tubes run right off a 4-pin connector from your computer case and they put off no heat signature, so you're not going to cook your PC case.
Installation along the base and back side of your case is simple - the kit includes double sided tape, zip ties, and even velcro for removable installation. You'll get a bit of glow off the existing lines on the cards in your case as is.
