The expandable redundant Universal Gateway from Cisco features full redundancy with hot-swap support and 14Us of expansion for support of more than 2688 universal ports.

Mission Critical Reliability:
Service providers and other mission critical environments will appreciate the extreme reliability of the Cisco Universal Gateway. With hot-swappable, redundant power supplies, redundant fans and fan banks, redundant eRSC cards, and Call Adminission Control (CAC), the Gateway is not likley to fail anytime soon.

Most parts are hot swappable, so replacing expansion slots, power supplies, and other critical parts doesn't require a system shutdown. Even in the midst of hardware failure, the Universal Gateway continues to run keeping the network up while you obtain replacement parts.

The gateway is robust and supports all networking protocols, including voice and data networking. For both enterprise and consumer settings, the Gateway provides unparalled performance.
