Cat6 ethernet patch cables allow superior data transmission and bandwidth rates and have a higher quality than standard Cat5 cables. Each individual copper wire within the cable has a protective coating to prevent interference with the data transmissions on the different wires. Cat6 wiring uses RJ-45 connections and is backwards compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e standard cables. This cable is suitable for 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) connections and provides performance up to 550 MHz.
Color-coded cables can allow you to design and organize your own system of cable identification. Network cables can be messy, especially if you have ever seen a large patch panel or Cat5 matrix. We offer six different colors and over seven different lengths of Cat5 and Cat6 ethernet patch cables.
