This Category 6 Ethernet Patch cable is made standard for gigabit ethernet protocols. Cat6 wiring uses RJ-45 connections and is backwards compatible with Cat5 and Cat5e standard cables. This cable is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) connections and provides performance up to 550 MHz. Cat6 cables offer individual shielding on each stranded wire and have the ability to provide a wider bandwidth over the same distance as a Cat5 cable.
Using color-coded cables will provide an advantage because you have the ability to easily identify and recognize cables using bright colors. Under our networking category in the "Cat6 Patch Cables" and "Standard Cat5e Patch Cables", you will find a variety of color-coded cables that come in lengths from 1 to 25 feet and six colors.
