Pros: Works perfect even for pro-audio sound cards that are in the 4 digit range.

Other Comments: Perfect for using my pro-audio sound card in my newer computer. Having a high end audio card is needed, and when I began going to VST's in my live sets over outboard gear, I needed a laptop. 6 yrs later I had to upgrade my laptop to keep up, unfortunatly, companies dont make express card products. and rather wasting the 1100 invested, I figured I would try this. WORKS LIKE A DREAM. does not increase latency, and no audio hiccups. Its sticking out does not bother me, as I have various midi controllers on either side and front of the laptop, and 3 external HDDs, so there is always things around it. Dont fear its compatability or thoughts of performace loss, this thing does not interfear at all

Pros: When I bought my laptop I was told that this device didn't exist. This works great for my old Verizon PCMCIA AirCard, I've had absolutely no trouble with it.

Cons: On my laptop (A Sony VAIO TZ) it blocks the USB ports.

Other Comments: This is the least expensive ExpressCard to Cardbus adapter I found. It worked as advertised without any drama on Windows Vista.

Cons: Extends too long out of express socket.

Other Comments: Solves the problems of PC card owners who now can only get a express card slot in their new laptops. It extends too long out of laptop socket thereby reducing portability and purpose of carrying a laptop. A little hand tilt can cancel the internet momentarily. A harder accidental bump may even break the device. In my HP DV9843 it blocks the DVD door from opening. So one has to be out from internet to open the dvd door. I should have purchased the SW-7429 instead which is more expensive. But I did not purchase the SW-7429 because I was not ready to download a freely available patch for code 31 error that is required for some vista operating laptops. But now I think I should have since it out weights the portability and dvd operating inconvenience.

Pros: This adapter is just what I needed. I do not have a PCM slot on my laptop and this works perfect. I ordered on Thursday and it arrived on Friday. Outstanding!!! I had 2 co-workers order one as well.

Cons: With PCM card in the adapter, the whole piece extends 5 inches out from the laptop.
