Pros: Best way to capture high quality video from a variety of sources. Not a toy for doing YouTube videos

Cons: None so far

Other Comments: Be sure to pay attention to the requirements for hard drives. If you set up 4 7200 RPM drives as a RAID 0, you should be able to capture SD video, but for HD video you really need hard drive speed and capacity

Pros: I wanted to capture some video from my HDMI DVD player (it's not high-def, just an upscaler) - this card made it easy to do with my desktop.

Cons: Having to open my computer up, that's not something I do very often. A USB adapter would be handy but I couldn't find one that cound handle HDMI (and the DVI ones I found were really expensive, even compared to this).
