Pros: Very reasonable price at ~$26. The fans definately keeps my big laptop cooler. I recently began experiencing sudden shutdowns and felt like it was heat related. Thus far I have not had any shutdowns since using the cooler pad.

Cons: It's ugly and somewhat loud. The "extra" usb cord is awkward.

Other Comments: If you have a big 17" laptop with ~2Gb of ram and connect a large external hard drive...then you need this piece of equipment. I definately recommend this product.
