Accell UltraAV 1x2 HDMI 1.3 Splitter Reviews - K078C-002B

Pros: Works well out of PS3 split to: DVI projector Panny AE500U (HDMI-DVI for HD video); and to Onkyo 805 receiver (HDMI for HD Audio). Handshake took 1-2 seconds. The direct setup PS3 to Onkyo 805 to AE500U did not work, but with the splitter in it works perfectly.

Cons: None

Other Comments: Not checked HD 1.3 bistream capability.

Pros: The splitter works as advertised!. I split my living room tv into the kitchen so we can watch the same program while preparing meals. The picture is great.

Cons: Due to the distance, there is a minor delay between the display in the kitchen. If you are trying to get simultaneous displays, purchase equal lengths of cable. Not a big deal though, the delay is less than a second and the sound when listening at the transition point between the living room and kitchen is not quite an echo, but more like a fuller sound.

Pros: After searching for almost a year for an HDMI splitter which would work with my Sony PS3, I was delighted to find the Accell UltraAV. The unit was easy to connect to my existing gear, and worked perfectly and exactly as advertised. I've encountered absolutely no HDMI handshake issues, and I would definitely recommend the Accell UltraAV to anyone.

Cons:

Pros: Had a cheaper splitter that did not work with my PS3, this Accell splitter plugged in to my denon aver and new samsung and never missed a beat, listen to audio on the receiver (though video works fine) and video/audio feed to Samsung is flawless.

Cons: Price being a little lower would be the only thing, it works great though.
