  • will this product pass a signal that goes thru the "HD Fury" HDMI to RGB converter? I bought a low cost HDMI splitter and signal passed to my TV but not to my projector which had to pass thru the HD Fury. That side showed snow with a the picture flashing in and out.
    • It sounds like an HDCP issue. If your splitter was not HDCP compliant it can cause issues like that. This splitter is HDCP compliant and should not do that.

  • I need to split a HDMI signal at the source and then run the signals through 50 ft cables to the output. Will this product do that? Thanks.
    • Yes, this item will split the HDMI source so that you can run it to two displays. The HDMI specifications suggest that for any HDMI signal run longer than 15 feet that you use an HDMI signal booster to preserve a high quality signal. You can either use a long 50 foot cable and a seperate booster or you could use the Accell UltraRun HDMI 1.3 repeater cable, part SW-9180. That cable has a built in booster so you would not need anything extra to preserve that signal over the 50 foot run.
