Pros: Recently I bought a new HDTV with HDMI and component inputs, but the laptop I'm looking to buy only supports VGA, so I bought this device and found it works pretty well. It is designed to take video signal from PC or Laptop and upscale it to digital HDMI output of wide-range HDTV and PC resolutions, up to 1080p or WUXGA (1920x1200). I watch most of the PC applications, i.e. Powerpoint, Web Pages, Slides, Videos etc on my new HDTV. This is a solid investment for my HDTV set.
