With all the many
USB devices that are available today, it's easy to quickly run out of ports. USB hubs can somewhat solve the problem, however if you connect high bandwidth devices on the same USB channel, sluggish performance can result with too many devices on one USB port.
This compact USB 2.0 PCI card solves the problem by providing a new USB 2.0 channel that's independent of other USB ports on your computer. It's compatible with Windows 2000/XP and doesn't require drivers after installation (unless you're using Windows 98).
It can also act as a way to connect an internal USB 2.0 device in your computer like a memory card reader or audio/video capture device. The internal port is conveniently on top and provides full 480 mpbs support.
