    • since this switch goes from one source to one display at a time, signal strength should not be affected very much at all, and unless you are planning on having the signal travel further than HDMI specifications allow you shouldn't have a problem.

    • No, this is a switch, so it will only send the signal to (or from) one source at a time. If you want to send one HDMI source to two displays, you will want an HDMI splitter.

    • Yes, this should work well for you. Most HDMI switches will only allow mutltiple sources to one display, which would probably explain why your other switch didn't work. The SW-8876 however will let you connect your Mini to both the TV and monitor, then simply pressing the button would allow you to switch between the two.
