Phil - Work well, but a little pricy.

Pros: Does as expected. Also I rather appreciate the screw in HDMI connections that come with this. Nice idea for an A/V cabinet.

Cons: More pricy then the 2x8 HDMI splitter I picked up with this unit, which is by Apogee.

Other Comments: I have a system setup to display to 10 screens. The system is setup to take a display port connection converted to HDMI via cable. Then split into 1x4 near the PC. Only 2 port were needed. I run those to a section of cubicals over HDMI to Ethernet Extender Units. 1 run is 100ft CAT6. Other is 50ft CAT6. Then I split those via 1x8 on one side and a 2x8 on the other side. Tested two unit from here for signal degradation issue I had with Monoprice 1x8. The results are wonderful. I have test it with each side full of monitors (16 total). Works well for a Heads Up Display system for a monitor at each cubical.
